Broadcom is probably the company that, in terms of shares, rewards much more than all the other big companies (it didn't hurt that the share value jumped in the last two years..) In terms of vibes, I believe it depends on the group, the group I work in has great dynamics, good and strong people to learn from and work with.

Cons

As a general rule, Broadcom does not take care of the employees' well-being, such as holiday gifts, etc., but these are very marginal and negligible things
