Toxic management culture and favoritism undermine the company

Pros

Company is good ,but VP and mangers are spoiling it to core and no place to express our feedback

Cons

Manager-driven organization with excessive autonomy given to managers. Managers have complete control over salary hikes and promotions, which often results in favoritism rather than merit-based recognition. The company has a poor work-life balance and a highly toxic management culture. Employees are frequently expected to work late into the night and on Saturdays and Sundays without any overtime compensation. Refusing these demands or questioning them often leads to retaliation. Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) are commonly used as a weapon to target employees rather than as a genuine performance improvement process. Employees who raise concerns or disagree with management are at risk of being placed on a PIP. The leadership culture is authoritarian. Some Vice Presidents (VPs) and Managers with 10+ years of experience behave like dictators, discouraging employees from expressing concerns or providing feedback. Speaking against management can quickly result in harassment, isolation, or being unfairly targeted. There is a lack of mutual respect between management and employees. A culture of favoritism, groupism, and workplace harassment exists in certain teams, making it difficult for employees to work in a healthy environment. There are also serious concerns about wellbeing and mental health. Employees have reported instances of bias based on manger favoritism and mostly managers relatives or wife and husband will be in the same project project as strangers in the office will not disclose to company mostly either it is siblings or relatives , which creates an unfair and hostile workplace. Such practices undermine diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity. Overall, the organization suffers from poor leadership, favoritism, an unhealthy work culture, lack of transparency in salary and appraisal decisions, misuse of PIPs, excessive unpaid overtime, and an environment where employees fear retaliation for speaking up.
