Pros

-Good culture, great people -Decent first job out of college

Cons

-Majority of the "successful individuals" mean well but it's more about the rich getting richer rather than building the new employees up. -Promise/advertise more commission in year one then you should expect. -Hire you for "sales" but most offices have some arbitrary status you need to hit to go into sales, but I know of some offices who fast track people. -Other Recruiting jobs can have a base of$50,000 a year plus commission, Brooksource tries to get around that by claiming "uncapped commissions" but in reality just to get to that number from your 30-35k base takes over a year or more.

Pros

Started as a recruiter and moved into a new role. You are able to write your own job description. Once you have proven yourself in your role, management is willing to listen to your creative ideas of how you feel you would better fit in the company and ways to get you there.

Cons

The business lends itself to unpredictability. You are dealing with people and not products, so not having complete control is sometimes difficult.

A glorified post-grad frat

Pros

They let you drink in the office

Cons

If you're seeking a work environment that's can be described as a post-grad frat culture, look no further than Brooksource. Every day is a popularity contest, and the amount of ass-kissing that goes on is mind-boggling. Additionally, the account executives treat recruiters like their own personal employees rather than co-workers. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.
