The CEO does his best and truly cares.

Cons

It has been said on here and it needs to be said again. HR is unethical. They promote all their friends and demote those who have employees best interest at heart and is a good, honest HR employee who is respected by all the employees. How many HR promotions have happened after they just worked there less than a year not to mention the award for doing their job. The positive feedback on here is from HR employees trying to cover. They need to be audited. Check actual resumes against job descriptions too. The Recruiting Manager is very dishonest. Employee survey means nothing. They pacify employees with meetings and do absolutely nothing to improve the environment.

Years ago, Brother had the feel of a family company and they will insist that it still does. However, the work environment has changed dramatically over the years and not for the better! For those joining the company, make sure you negotiate your salary well, since the annual pay raise is between 2 and 2.5% a year.

Cons

If you are a creative person and do not want to be micro-managed, this is not the place for you! No matter what you are working on - concept, design, color, font size, you name it - it will be changed! If you work in the Marketing Dept, you not only do Marketing, but also answer Customer Service questions and work on the financial aspects of the business as well. Everyone there is now a "jack of all trades and master of none".
