The stale atmosphere within the dept, with employees who will not adapt to new ideas. Sarcasm from mgmt, and no structure. Low moral.

Pros

Good health benefits. Good work-life balance as top management is committed to having a good work-life balance for themselves. Corporate office buildings are a ghost town by 5PM Monday to Thursday and earlier on Friday or holidays.

Cons

Management is not adaptable and flexible regarding workforce planning. Workers not encouraged to grow professionally and be upwardly mobile. They are required to fill certain routine functions and roles and get blocked if they try to climb out of those repetitive functions/roles. Too much favoritism and cronyism.

A lot of people in other departments are friendly. The benefits are decent.

Cons

Micromanaging control freak who dominated my every move. Co-workers that were able to get away with screaming loud laughter and nonstop talking never punished. Incorrect information on benefits, HR given at every turn.
