Great technology - very poor management

Pros

Great technology, good atmosphere around employers, talented engineers. Good life/work balance

Cons

No or inconsistent product strategy, short-term vision based on fast sales instead of product quality. Senior management has extremely poor communication skills and performs management by fear. Very poor organized: there is no-one who can draw a organizational chart of this organisation. We seem to spent more time on company-politics than technology. Decreased product quality as a result of massive outsourcing.

Pros

Industry leader for Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment. Friendly team members with a "can-do" attitude.

Cons

They focus on servicing the research industry. If funding levels decrease, so do sales. However, this issue is mitigated by their global footprint.
