Pros

Bruker is a good stable company with many loyal employees that have been there for periods of time longer than average in scientific instrumentation industry. Bruker manufactures innovative hardware and very competitive software tools. Many scientists and engineers are superb experts in their specialties and that is a cornerstone of the company's good reputation.

Cons

While the CEO of the company is based in the US headquarters a lot of senior and mid-level managers are based in Germany, which slows down communication, creates misunderstandings and sometimes leads to decisions that are not great for the company operations in North America.
