Pros

One of the largest hospital systems in the area. Meet and network with lots of people. Pay is competitive.

Cons

It takes forever for new ideas to be planted. Employees have plenty of them, but if they won't earn money right off the bat, they won't even touch them. Many businesses understand that some of their products/services won't earn them money, but hopefully those bring in customers that will buy other products/services that will increase revenue. This company will remain stagnant if they aren't willing to take initiative on new products and services. Bryan also gets into the mantra, "keep people part-time so they don't get benefits". They have changed their name several times. While this doesn't seem like a big deal - they've done it several times with the last two decades - it costs them lots of money (something to the tune of $14 million for the latest one). It just shows poor money management. The last one they changed from BryanLGH to Bryan Health: there was no merge, no leadership change and nothing else to prompt a name change. It was done because the community calls them "Bryan" anyways and not "BryanLGH".

Pros

The Pros - Good benefits and they work with your college class schedule. Good part time gig

Cons

There weren't very many cons. Some of the pharmicist were fresh out of school and needed to be reminded of certain policies the company had. Not much of a set back though

Pros

Overall Bryan is a pretty good place to work. Technology is up to date. West campus all new, very clean. East campus is almost all remodeled or in the process. Mother/ Baby tower is beautiful. Most supervisors or floor managers really care about their workers and fight for more help.

Cons

Just like any other hospital or facility the hours get long and sometimes they stretch their staff and over work some floors. Upper management needs a revamp because they are severely lacking knowledge on how the nursing floors are suffering. This company had become more and more about money then about the patient care which I find unsettling.
