Pros

The culture is centered on safety for the staff and patients. Ideas are innovative and progressive to stay on the cutting edge of treatments. Patients love our facility.

Cons

There is a constant push to stay on the front edge of the industry, so it can feel competitive at times with other departments to be the best. Patient satisfaction is stressed ALL the time. Almost to the point of overkill....

Pros

One of the largest hospital systems in the area. Meet and network with lots of people. Pay is competitive.

Cons

It takes forever for new ideas to be planted. Employees have plenty of them, but if they won't earn money right off the bat, they won't even touch them. Many businesses understand that some of their products/services won't earn them money, but hopefully those bring in customers that will buy other products/services that will increase revenue. This company will remain stagnant if they aren't willing to take initiative on new products and services. Bryan also gets into the mantra, "keep people part-time so they don't get benefits". They have changed their name several times. While this doesn't seem like a big deal - they've done it several times with the last two decades - it costs them lots of money (something to the tune of $14 million for the latest one). It just shows poor money management. The last one they changed from BryanLGH to Bryan Health: there was no merge, no leadership change and nothing else to prompt a name change. It was done because the community calls them "Bryan" anyways and not "BryanLGH".
