Pros

Easy to get hired and hard to get fired. Benefits are pretty good They will help you get a CDL if you don't have one. Deliveries are local so home every night. Trucks are automatic, which is nice for city driving, and rented.

Cons

Low pay for a CDL job. Long hours, though not as bad as OTR. Benefits can get expensive, potentially $150 plus a week. Communication is poor. Almost never get raises. Constantly dealing with new people's inexperience, including new warehouse workers. If you got a CDL through a driving school, they don't reimburse tuition.

Managers are incompetent, you are always being talked down upon, they expect you to know everything after they told you 1 time. Supervisors always looking for an excuse to fire you.
