Pros

I worked in this company for 2/3 years and it was the nicest company to work for, it is such a happy place as you can imagine where for once you are encouraged to build a relationship with your staff, sales coaching and hard selling teaching the staff the figures and what they mean it was amazing. as a member of staff you will be treated extremely well and will always have a happy shift, no stress just making kids days. As an assistant manager you will receive training courses and training in store I learnt all my selling knowledge here as it's all about pushing for the add ons and the best part is that the staff learn it all too! A great bit of knowledge to take to any company. You get a limited edition small Christmas teddy every year too and sweets at Halloween.

Cons

I had an extreme passion for this job and I have always wanted to keep pushing higher in my career so when I came to the company and ended up acting store manager I thought I'd made it and was over the moon, I ran the store well and hit targets even though staff were low I kept the team together. And the position was given to another store manager as a transfer. I was devastated however I was young and put it down to me being too young which was even worse. So if you are racing up the career ladder you won't reach the top here :(

Pros

At the best of times a very laid back and fun place to work. Its also lovely to interact with all the children and regulars as well as taking part in peoples special celebrations. Overall once you know all the station standards you must deliver in different areas of the store, most aspects of the job are easy enough and enjoyable .

Cons

At the worst of times can be very stressful when the store is packed and only 2 bears can be built at any one time. Also there is a lot of pressure on you to make birthday parties fun and some groups of children and parents can be tricky to work with. You may also have to be inside a mascot which is something I was not made aware of when applying.
