Pros

-Friendly staff. Became friends with a lot of the staff while there. -Managers were very willing to train new staff. -Staff room treats (such as cookies and TV) made staff feel welcomed and appreciated.

Cons

-Store gets too busy and the amount of work increase, without an increase in pay. -Staff are expected to lead birthday parties as well without additional pay for the extra work.

Pros

~Get the joy of making someone's day! ~Positive, low-key place to work as far as retail goes. ~Often rewarded for making goals/quotas (depending on your management team of course... I love ours!) ~Hanging out with children is pretty fun most of the time ~Very willing to work with me on scheduling, and hours ~Received awesome training & lots of support ~Discount is nice, especially during the 50% off season ~Love the group of people I work with, managers included! ~Easy work overall ~Very organized at least at the store level ~Fun environment ~Meeting goals isn't crazy stressful (again depends on management) ~Holiday parties/gifts

Cons

~"On-Call" shifts... really? ~Hours vary a lot ~Parties can be stressful, but they aren't all that bad... really depends on the child/family as to how it goes, and the level of support you get from coworkers/managers ~Not the highest paying retail position I've ever had... ~Retail hours- night, weekends, and crazy holiday hours ~Tight budget for employee hours ~Crying/screaming children ~Parents who do not supervise their children well ~The over use of "bearisms" such as- pawsome, beariffic, etc.... you have to be able to handle goofy puns, and general silliness all the time! ~Terrible music in store
