Great Place to Work

Pros

For as long as I’ve been employed at BMIC, we have been GPTW certified and there is no question about it- it is a great place to work. - Clear growth path with real development plans - The opportunity to love what you do - Strong DE&I efforts that contribute to positive culture - Good benefits & PTO structure - Leadership that actually cares - Generally positive workplace culture that comes from the top. - Transparent & Accessible senior leadership

Cons

Very few. - Pay is lower than average based on market research, but fringe benefits & healthy work life balance make this worth it - Some processes & systems are outdated and not intuitive, compared to competitors but a strong work ethic and dedication to customer service make up for this. They are working on new systems- and have been for a while. It’s needed, and hope it doesn’t reach the back burner

Pros

Great introduction, Great On-boarding, Local company. Company Fleet vehicles.

Cons

Managers are knowledgeable but arrogant and dishonest. Feckless in teaching others how to learn premium audits. Employees have no voice, I learned more from an employee than a manager. The manager acts like a petulant child. Managers are impervious to questions; they tell you if you have a question ask; just don't ask the same question twice. This position is about a weekly quota. If you don't have audit experience Good Luck! You have six months to learn. I had a manager to tell me they have OCD, as if that is something to be proud of. No one should have to sell you on a good company. Anyone can say the company is good, while circulating internal surveys of current employees.
