Builders Mutual Insurance reviews

I began the summer internship in May and it's scheduled as a 12-week program. So far I've been able to experience many aspects of the Insurance Industry. I've attended a presentation given by the claims department, shadowed the risk management department, attended a lecture given by the Underwriting VP and have scheduled activities with HR. So far I've really enjoyed learning about these different business functions that I haven't been taught in class. I've also been given a project that will last the duration of Summer and have learned a lot from my mentor. This project has involved incorporating new technology and has given me a lot of independence. If you don't like micro management and enjoy seeing your work pay off, this is the place for you!

Great company to work for. The company cares about it's employees and work-life balance. Other employees are always willing to help out and made me feel very comfortable here after I started working.This is by far the best company I have ever worked for!
