They allow me to spread my wings and reach for the stars without stiffling my creativity. They honestly appreciate the work I do and reward us for a job well done. They also appear to care about my personal well being. They allow me to research the best way to do something and not put pressure to just push a task out the door.

I find our leadership team has an enorumous passion around our people and our vision. They are concerned about us as individuals, our families, and our professional success. In addition, they are constantly monitoring our progress and place in the industry; making certain that we are taking the steps we need to navigate the future well.

I have been with BMIC for 1 year. Coming from a large Insurance entity I welcomed the change in culture. BMIC truly is committed to the success of their employees which is solidified by the numerous educational/training opportunities offered for professional development. I come to work knowing that it is not a one-man show but a true group effort towards the success of the company. Everyone is very friendly and willing to help out, if needed. I am very happy that I am a part of this team with fantastic Leadership Team, and look forward to many more years with Builders Mutual.

Cons

When inclement weather decides to show up the entrance to BMIC reminds me of an ice rink ... but other than that I wish I had found this company earlier in my career.
