BT is in the sweet spot of mid market vertical software companies—well beyond a startup, but nowhere near the bureaucratic hell of a megacorp in terms of the impact a single employee or small team can have. We're trying to build and support a true system of record for the construction industry. That in turn provides a platform for new value added products and services. Recent promotions and hires into senior leadership and the exec team, along with investment and advisement from PE, suggests we have a great support system to chart our own future. The company is really embracing what it means to focus on fewer things, focus on a tighter set of customers, and doing it in a way where our people gain new skills along the way.

Cons

The legacy product components and features of our core application have in the past 2 years, started to get "un-monolithed" and modernized. Assuming that continues to progress, we'll be able to ship faster, smaller increments to customers.

Job was terrible. All about who you know there. Family and friends are the ones who move up the quickest. All guys club kind of company.
