Pros

Management is great Benefits are good Culture is great, co-workers and managers are fantastic

Cons

Completely changed the work from home policy with no huge warnings and didn't allow flexibility for people who commute. When I started they told me they had a hybrid work from home model that was perfect for my situation, after the holidays they changed it to just one day where you could work from home. Had they mentioned in the interview that they were changing the hybrid work from home situation, I may have considered other job opportunities.

Pros

Company has done good improving benefits, improving the atmosphere, and in general the people you work with are the best.

Cons

Company has a long way to go to not make it seem like some promotions are pre-decided, The perception always feels that they already had that person in their mind and interviewing is almost pointless if you're not the "chosen" one. A lot of people are fed up and previous ratings have discussed this as well. It has slightly improved but it feels like they just did a better job hiding it instead.

Pros

The people here are awesome! One of the most common mottos (it's even painted on the walls) is "don't be an a hole". They do a pretty good job at only keeping non-a holes. Oh and the work atmosphere?? Amazing. Each sales team is blasting their music and grinding it out together. What the sales floor does as one big team is truly astonishing. Each goal is celebrated by everyone and the energy is contagious. Oh and did I mention the bar and soda machines? Yah they have a bar and soda machines. In the office. Oh ya and the way they get around the office is on scooters. Like those razor scooters that absolutely shatter your ankles as a kid? Those. It truly is a very special and wonderful place

Cons

The burnout rate in this position is BRUTAL. All day long, you are making cold phone calls. A minimum of 150 calls every day. Because Buildertrend is a construction software, the people you are trying to reach are all contractors. As someone that grew up around construction, I can undoubtedly say that a majority of contractors are usually not very happy to recieve a sales phone call in the middle of their work day. And they tell you off for it almost every time. Aside from the verbal abuse, this job is also potentially very stressful and harmful to your mental health. I know I am not the only person that has been affected this way either. You are just a number to the company. If you cannot somehow convince these contractors to buy this software, you are useless to the company. Sales is a lot about luck. If you have say 3 bad months in a row, odds are, they're already discussing your job termination. Then they increase the pressure immensely by giving you a nearly unachievable ultimatum. If you don't meet that exact stat line by the given deadline, you will be fired on the spot. It's honestly cruel in a way. They give you a goal that they tell you is "the bare minimum", but is actually a very difficult achievement for most of the reps. So yah it's a pretty high-stress job sometimes
