Heavy emphasis on work life balance. They encourage PTO and encourage being fully disconnected during PTO. They push and motivate you towards career growth. Team members are professional, friendly, and respectful. They allow fully remote positions.

Yearly/promotion raises are kept smaller

Pros

1.) Buildertrend has a cool thing called the Rise Fund. It is an employee funded tool that pays up to a certain amount of money when tragedy hits an employee's family. My family has used it before and it has blessed us tremendously. 2.) Buildertrend leadership does believe in the mission we are on. Many companies are focused on growth to sell the company and check out. BT is not this way we focus intensely on the customer. 3.) The BT team is incredible, you will meet some amazing people working at BT. 4.) I have not had a bad manager while working here. During my time at BT I have had two managers and both have been great.

Cons

1.) The compensation is debatable. 2.) Sometimes the pace can be hard to keep up with. There are times when you will feel out of breath but you have to keep running. It is not always like this but seasons of this do come. 3.) Depending on what department you are in, a path to growth is not always clear.

Pros

I couldn't ask for a better position while finishing my undergrad. If you are going to school online the BDR role is a great position to consider. The company has good opprotunities for advancement that I haven't pursued since school is my #1 priority and want to graduate before exploring a position change. The time off is very generous. The office is fantastic accomadations include a gym, pingpong/pool tables, gaming center, and more. The people are fantastic, and job requirements are straightforward.

Cons

As a BDR you do have to make a lot of calls and it can feel repetative at times. But this isn't even a con, it's the job. This is a sales role so the more calls you make, the more meetings you will set, and the more money you'll make.
