Buildium really cares about their employees
Pros
One of Buildium's five core values is "ownership", and they really live up to it. Regardless of position, employees are respected and given authority to dictate the direction of their own projects. It's really refreshing to work for a company that explicitly avoids micromanaging. They also do an amazing job supporting the professional growth of their employees.
Cons
The company is growing very quickly, and sometimes it's easy to forget that we're not still a start up. We've had to implement new project management tools and more organizational hierarchy to account for our growing size, and sometimes these changes can be disruptive to your personal workflow. Thankfully, management acknowledges these "growing pains", and they do a good job of communicating these changes.
