A Remote Job Should Not Be This Stressful (Results May Vary)

Pay rate is frustratingly low with the given increased workloads with tight deadlines Always running understaffed given the increasing client demand for support Unsteady Management/Lack of Support (I changed managers 5 times during my 1yr8mo employment due to constant restructuring/heightening expectations on Support management that trickled down) Upper Management pushes unrealistic workload while expecting to align with constantly changing metrics (which you will be scrutinized on a weekly basis for) while Support struggles to maintain the breakneck work pace expectations set for them by upper management. This seems to largely be due to the company continuously pushing new features to stay ‘innovative’ No clear path of advancement due to constant restructuring,causing displacements within teams/less coverage to allow advancement to occur **They sing about ‘unlimited’ overtime, but this comes with a HUGE asterisk. Of course it’s not unlimited, but your metrics will actually suffer due to your absence (that’s right, your metrics are still being calculated and then counted against you while you're out of office for more than a day because you weren’t productive!) which you will be held accountable for upon your return.**

Since that time, I think we've made some strides in improving our communcation and feedback from front line employees in Support, resulting in some significant changes that were unnecessarily contributing to a stressful working environment within the team, including staffing up.
