Pros

Unlimited holiday which was the only thing good and met some decent people.

Cons

Poor management, micro management, no communication, constantly compared to peers, competition within the team and manager talking behind people behind their back and no progression

As always, we appreciate any employees, current or former, who take time to provide feedback on their experience at Bullhorn. While the feedback here is definitely an outlier, and not representative of our culture, when we hear/see things like this, we do go back to our leaders to work through whatever is going on and turn it into a learning for the future. Appreciate you giving us the opportunity to do so in this case. Feel free to reach out for a confidential chat anytime. - Kelley Morse, SVP, HR.

Pros

- Supportive Leadership - Quarterly feedback from Direct Manager - Good Career Growth Opportunities - Decent(ish) PTO (see Cons) - Great Culture - Plenty of social opportunities via Slack/Zoom for Remote Employees - Free Swag

Cons

- "Unlimited" PTO seems far less of a reality outside of Tier 1 Support as we are often told we cannot book any more PTO until the rest of the team has reached 20 days. For proactive people who like to book Christmas/Easter in advance, this can be an annoyance. - UK Salaries are a little underwhelming compared to our US counterparts and could also be a little higher compared to similar roles in the Industry. - 40 hours a week can feel like a bit much at times. I know the "4-day working" week is touted as the next big thing by many workers, but honestly, even just a reduction to 35-hour contracts with no reduction in remuneration would go a long way to improving that all-important work/life balance.

Thank you for sharing this feedback. We are so happy to hear that you feel you have supportive leadership who works closely with you on your career development and that you are connected to the company culture. Bullhorn leadership takes employee experience extremely seriously and we'll continue to look into how the intent of our unlimited time off policy impacts our Support Analysts in practice at all levels and in all geographic locations. While the 4-day work week is not offered today, we continue to evaluate all potential methods for supporting our employees in obtaining a healthy work-life balance, including regular review of how our total compensation package aligns with the market. This feedback is so valuable and we thank you for trusting us with it. - Megan O'Donoghue, VP, Global Support

Pros

Bullhorn has always been a place that gives people the exposure and runway to grow their careers. The leaders are invested in growing people from within, and willing to give a fair amount of responsibility to those just starting out. It's fast-paced (in a good way) in that your job will fundamentally look different year to year - ability to learn new skills, work with new team members, enter new geographies, sectors - you name it. Another pro would be the role that the company's core values play. They are fully ingrained in the culture at Bullhorn - not just a graphic on a wall. Love that they're talked about regularly, and that leadership makes a point to highight the individuals that exhibit them.

Cons

No real cons, need to figure out how we can keep things fast-paced as the company grows but it's clear that that's top of mind as we scale.
