Pros

The leadership is passionate about customers and innovation. Bullhorn has always been a great place to work, but the last 3 years in the staffing industry have been pretty awful. All the customers have been downsizing and it's really impacted the company negatively. But, recently, things have turned positive in a pretty dramatic way Leadership used the market downturn to return to our roots of innovating and the created an AI offering that has customers freaking out about how awesome it is. I've never heard customers rave about software like that before. It's breathed a whole new energy into the company and it's really fun again.

Cons

The staffing industry can be tough to serve at times. The customers are very demanding, to be fair, if you do a good job, they really shower you with praise, but you really have to deliver for them.

Pros

The people are what make this company special. There is a genuine focus on collaboration, customer success, and helping employees grow. I've had the opportunity to work with talented leaders and colleagues who care deeply about the business and each other. The company moves quickly, which creates opportunities to take on new challenges, expand your skill set, and have a meaningful impact. If you're someone like me who enjoys solving problems, driving change, and working with smart people, you'll find plenty of opportunities here.

Cons

Like many organizations, priorities can shift quickly and change management is not always perfect. The pace can be demanding, and employees need to be comfortable operating with ambiguity and adapting as the business evolves. Cross-functional alignment and communication can sometimes lag behind the speed at which decisions are made, creating occasional confusion around priorities and execution.

We do a detailed review of all salaries every year, including an understanding of the market for each role at each location. If you feel that you are being left behind, I'd encourage you to talk to your leader and we can dig deeper. It's also important to recognize that job requests are often opened at the higher end of the salary range for budgeting purposes, but that doesn't mean the new hire will be offered that top end number. I have also been very clear that I'd love to hear feedback, both positive and negative so we can continue making the team better. If we're out of touch with your issues, that would mean we're not hearing from you. I'd be happy to talk through anything that's on your mind. - Mike Henrichs, SVP
