      Burckhardt Compression is a very traditional manufacturer of industrial components with growth potential for its employees. Both internal courses and career opportunities are available and plentiful given the strategic growth goals of the company. Company culture is relaxed and very welcoming, doors are always open to new comers. People are happy to share their experience and knowledge with new people. Strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile are driving most employees. Strong benefits and excellent pension conditions.

      Cons

      Decision paths can be quite long and matters are often unnecessarily escalated to management. Due to the long history and traditional markets, the company can be slow to accept change and at times is resistant to lessons learned. Despite the global footprint it is very Switzerland centric, which can create challenges when implementing global initiatives. People looking for a strong purpose in their work life may not find this here.
