      Pros

      so many opportunities to get involved with the company, going on trips to see how the food is made - an insane amount of effort is put into making you feel a part of the company and into showing you everything about it so you know all the inner workings and everything, no one is left out, everyone is made to feel a part of the main body and mission of Butternut Box. Everyone is so friendly - even working remotely, the positivity and warmth from everybody is so visible. There is a genuine care that stems from everyone that works here and it was very obvious from the first day. They took such care in the onboarding that I learnt so much and felt more passionate about my job after learning all these things I never knew. Just altogether a really lovely place to work.

      Cons

      Only con is where I am remote we do miss weekly opportunities that happen at the office e.g. the breakfasts, the games, etc but that obviously comes with being remote.

      Really enjoyable and friendly company to work for

      Pros

      Everyone is very friendly and passionate about the company. The remote first approach with flexible working hours in the engineering department is really amazing and they help you set up all your equipment to work from home. The discount on the product is great if you have a dog. There are socials fairly often so even if people dont go in all the time there are always occasions when the whole department / office gets together. It hasn't lost its start-up mentality.

      Cons

      Really helps if you like dogs, or even just pets. Huge focus on growth rather than improving and stabilizing current work - doesn't have to be a con so depends on how you see this one.
