Pros

Great co-workers. Great customers. Closed most holidays.

Cons

No raises. No recognition for a job well done or loyalty. Branch employees are not "as valued" as corporate staff. Some managers are verbally abusive and little or no action is taken. Extreme favoritism persists and employees are reminded that they are replaceable and lucky to have a job. The "old guard" isn't having trouble adapting to the new owners, they just want to be recognized, rewarded and appreciated for riding out the storm.

Old guard vs new guard - some employees having a tough time transitioning since the recapitalization Very low pay for the industry Poorly-defined career arcs for younger employees
