      Poor compensation and career advancement opportunities. Much easier to find another opportunity elsewhere. A lot of engineers leave after a year. Poor WLB. A heavy workload is the expected norm. You can choose to take a lighter workload but your performance review will be affected. Poor management of project cycles Poor recognition of individual achievements Only top performers are rewarded appropriately. If not, you should probably leave after a year.
