No surprised but it’s Asian company so culture is exactly what you might expect. Top down culture with expectations to work long hours and weekends. If you don’t speak mandarin expect discrimination, you will not be included in important decision making and your ratings will reflect the outcome. Almost feel like you were hired for diversity but they don’t want diversity. You will be setup for failure and PIP or fired if you retaliate. Leadership is as mellow as it gets , no communication no answers for burning questions. There is a reason people leave after a year, either due to burnout or discrimination. Yes money is good but is it worth all the stress..Hell no!!

Tons of micromanagement, reorg half a year, chaotic management. Managers have tons of power and quick visa sponsorship.
