Pros

-Treats Employees well -Good area to work in -helps students study I had a great experience at C2 education. As an administrative associate I enjoyed it all.

Cons

It's a small office with a lot of branches, so there's a lot of bureaucracy. But that's normal for a company. I can't think of any other cons

Pros

-Competitive pay relative to most of the big test prep companies. -If students like you, it's not hard to get consistent hours. -Curriculum is pretty clear cut; minimal planning & prep is necessary. -Students are generally well-motivated and fun to work with. -You don't have to deal with families.

Cons

-The experience can vary from center to center, depending on the personality and style of the center director. -The 3-1 ratio isn't great. You really cannot provide tailored individualized tutoring to 3 different students at once. It's overwhelming and you feel like your short-changing students. -The curriculum is dull and badly organized, and the materials aren't great (faulty answer keys, etc). -There's a ton of paperwork. -There's an expectation that you'll work for free. I've been asked multiple times to complete certain paperwork on my own time. I've also been asked to come in early, and been asked to stay late to meet with my center director. This is an hourly position and you're paid by the hour, so they cannot require you to work without compensation like that. But they "ask" you to do it all the time and there's a clear expectation that you will. -Given that you're "individually" tutoring 3 students at once, the compensation isn't really commensurate.
