      A decent government contractor.

      Pros

      not a bad contractor to work for. Shift diff was given for all hours worked after 7pm and they were not stingy regarding either shift diff or overtime. for the most part the people I worked with were professional and hard workers. Their office in Chantilly is very nice and they have many contracts all around the Washington D.C. metro area.

      Cons

      horrible benefits if you have a family to support. Did not receive any vendor training but the in house training program was not bad.

      Pros

      Flexibility of work hours. Generally employee population seems upbeat and excited about the job at hand. Company provides so many different services that you have the ability to move to other groups and gain knowledge.

      Cons

      The benefits provided are subpar and costly to the employee. Work environment is cramped old drab cubes. Company seems to dislike IT and restricts budget to a fraction of what other similar sized corporations provide.

      Pros

      CACI is a large company with competitive salaries. They have a very wide range of contracts with several technical opportunities. The benefits are fair and upper management tries to stay involved as much as possible.

      Cons

      Sometimes I feel "out of the loop" because i am at client site 100% of the time. It appears that the people who bring in new contracts are the high prized employees - as opposed to the people doing the actual work.
