Pros

Travel around the state, cool coworkers.

Cons

DISGUSTING work environment. You have to drive with their lightstands in your car (tore up my interior) pay is not enough (cashiers make more in some cases) Hours are insane, including clock in times at 4 am and clock out at 10 pm with no scheduled breaks. Often 6 hours or less between shifts. Management doesn't care about you as a person whatsoever. Pay discrepancies. Training almost non-existent. Its seasonal. THEY REALLY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU. Numerous employees have complained about a new manager being inappropriate and upper management just keeps giving them more chances.

Just Don't Do it

Pros

Friendly coworkers who definitely help get you through. There are a couple of odd people that you'll have to try to tolerate.

Cons

Where do I even start? First of all, I don't even know why I still agreed to work for this company even after reading all the negative reviews. Things seemed to start out good but there's been a big gap missing in management and they can't seem to fill it as things are slowly starting to burn. -Be prepared to be overwork while being underappreciated and underpaid (there are pay dispariaties, chat with your coworkers). -Some days you'll work a minimum of 6 hours and others over 12+ (sometimes back to back) -Last minute (less than 12 hours notice) schedule changes seem to popular and sometimes you barely get an update until its too late. -Even if you submit when your unavailable, you'll probably still get schedule. -Most of the time you're dealing with kids who don't want to be photographed and/or overbearing parents. -They push for you get to get good Google Reviews (probably to cover for all the bad Yelp reviews). -Communication with management is a big issue JUST DON'T DO IT!

Pros

Work volume is good enough to keep you busy, if they schedule you.

Cons

If it’s not the “Cady” way then it’s wrong. Takes the art out of photography. All cameras a preprogrammed. Felt like a fast food establishment for portraits. All the photographers are part time with no real investment in the company. It’s just a part time job to help pay for school. When a client arrives they are handed a sheet of paper and they go around to the diff booths. Each booth has a diff photographer so there goes the personal aspect of the photographer/client relationship. (Unless you pay elite prices) Management is very unorganized and seem to be fresh out of school as well.
