      Pay is Okay, Culture and Schedule Issues

      Pros

      As a salesperson, if you can make consistent sales at CADY you can make some alright money. Nothing to write home about, but for a part-time job it can get you by.

      Cons

      The main issue that nullifies the pro of pay is that their scheduling is wacky, where there are off seasons you basically won't get paid anything during. Get ready to pick up another, or maybe even two, jobs. The culture is also quite weird, where there seemed to be a lot of cattiness about both sales and photography departments.

      Pros

      cover mileage, work with professional (but poorly upkept) gear

      Cons

      Bottom of the barrel pay (even though they sell $2,000-$3,000 packages and just opened a $2 MILLION innovation center), women will sometimes be discriminated against (because men can't get past that women are better photographers), you will not be given creative freedom (don't come here if you are artistic because you most definitely won't fall into the basic and uninspired "Cady Standard"), you will never get 40 hours (so you can forget covering your rent with this job), breaks never happen (we love breaking labor laws!), and you might pass out from a heat stroke because all black uniform is REQUIRED inside and outside. Also photo editing is outsourced, so your pictures might come back blown out and ugly. Love working hard for a horrible outcome!
