-Great Entry into IT -Rapidly expands your skillset and Resume -Good Benefits

Cons

-Overworked for the pay, especially dependent on the contract you support -No real avenues of promotion or specialization -Consistently understaffed for high call volume teams -No PTO -Training new hires is unpaid

Pros

Paycheck was only pro, despite lower than market salary and mediocre benefits.

Cons

Promotions based on nepotism and favorites. Incompetence excused and rewarded. Good ideas stolen and presented by management as their own. Raises based on politics. No room for promotions (except for favorites). Awards and recognition only for butt kissers. People threatened do what they were told. People pressured to do questionable things to make the client happy. Competent people were hired from outside but their input was ignored. Management got fancy company trips and tried to keep it secret from regular staff - but we knew because managers were all out at same time.
