      Pros

      Good experience for nursing students that allows for exposure to patients, other health care professionals, and various units. Very flexible when it comes to school schedules.

      Cons

      You are considered "special part time" which is nice when it comes to working around clinical and school schedules, but you may also not get very many hours depending on the unit you are placed in.

      There are many educational components at this hospital. Great learning opportunities for new and future nurses. Great PTO and PPTO (purchased paid time off) benefits.

      Cons

      Too many lazy nurses with crappy attitudes. Not welcoming of new nurses.

      Pays well, flexible schedule, nice co-workers. Administration and management are friendly. I have less than one year of employment with company.

      Cons

      New computer system still has issues, staffing issues. Some employees can be clique-y. Building is old and small so limited space.
