      Pros

      Plenty of units who consistently need extra nursing assistants and HUCs. Desperate units will give you an extra $8.75 an hour (in blocks of 4 hours each) if you work above your status

      Cons

      Disgusting pay "policies" such as if you are late or leave early on any extra shift you will lose all bonuses that week. If you are not liked they will find a way to get rid of you unless you know how to divert the problems. Some floors treat support nursing as inferior and worthless. If you want an administration job you literally have to wait until the whole succession retires or dies off.

      Its a job and I do not have to work outside.

      Cons

      Insurance- you get no “breaks” using their insurance even working there. You are required to use their network yet no breaks. Insurance is very expensive compared to so many other healthcare organizations Evaluations given yearly but no merit raises unless you are “in the club” Some employees get by with coming in late everyday, not 5 minutes but 30-40 minutes.
