A friendly helpful challenging work
Pros
A fantastic place for a first software development job. They have extensive training for new grads or students using an old c++ book as a basis, but it's more meant to get you into a coding working environment with a supervisor and tasks to handle. The real work can be challenging, but will be varied across different project so you will be exposed to many different languages platforms schemes etc. They have events often and those during the work week are paid, 2 hours watching a movie the day it comes out at the same rate as scaffolding a controller. Laid back environment with a get stuff done right attitude.
Cons
The pay is a little low. College Station may not be for everyone. Company seems dependent on several large clients. Unstructured promotion outlook.
