      Lots of Opportunities to Grow

      Pros

      I started in the Call Transfer side of Carchex and was given the opportunity after a few months to progress into a new position in the sales department. Since being a Sales Representative I've been able to make substantially more money and was cared for throughout my transition to this side. It's a great place to work!

      Cons

      Some Evening and Weekend work but Minimal compared to other Sales Jobs

As for evenings and weekends, we agree that its not the best part of the job but, as you mentioned, we try to do our best to limit the weekend and evening schedules so its is fairly shared by all Vehicle Protection Specialists.       Great Opportunity

      Pros

      Pay, experience, culture. I have been for 3 months and have been taught how to efficiently sell the vehicle service contracts that Carchex offers. In my 3 months in this position, I am on track for over 100k in my first year! Is a great company for anyone who has a good work ethic, and is willing to learn the process.

      Thank you for taking the time to provide this review based on your experience as a Vehicle Protection Plan Specialist. As with most careers that have commission-based compensation, there are times that it feels like earnings may be uncertain. We balance that with a minimum guaranteed commission and monthly bonus tiers that are revised at least monthly to reflect the current status of the market. We are proud that over the last 18 months, not only is average compensation for Vehicle Protection Specialists at its highest, it is also the most consistent (month over month) than it has ever been. We have only been able to accomplish this because of feedback like yours. We are always evaluating our Vehicle Protection Plan Specialist compensation plan to make sure that we not only counter market conditions but that each Protection Plan Specialist has a fair opportunity to earn the maximum.
