Casual environment, teamwork among the people who actually do the work, everyone wants to win, and the product truly does make a positive impact in the world.

Cons

Some members of senior management team wouldn't qualify for similar jobs elsewhere. Some strategies are questionable at best. Nepotism and conflict of interest abound. Almost no.advancement opportunities available.

Carfax has the best atmosphere of any place I have worked.

Pros

The company sells a product that empoyees can be proud of. Employees feel like they can contribute to the bottom line and see that with annual bonuses.

Cons

There is very little room for advancement because the structure is so flat. The data center and corporate offices are in separate cities which can make communication difficult.
