Pros
NONE - RUN AWAY FAST!!!!!
Cons
Company Culture Ever since the company was bought out and made public, there is no employee loyalty. What once used to be like a family is now laughable and nepotism is rampant. How this is still allowed is beyond me. Moral is in the gutter and everyone puts on a facade in order to not get on the pink slip radar. Support from management Management and the Senior Team are so out of the loop and favoritism runs rampant. Employees are bullied into answering all the "annonymous" surveys, but miraculously, H/R knows who has completed the surveys and who hasn't. No one answers truthfully for fear of being fired. In speaking with others after the surveys are done, there doesn't seem to be a way that the results are legitimate. Teamwork "Teamwork" is listed as a strength, but it is usually one person controlling the departments or projects. Internal Communication Communication is a joke. The departments are contstantly pitted against each other and no one really knows who to go to or is afraid to approach them. Gender Equality This is definitely (and I can not stress this enough) a "good old boys" company. Career Development There is no career "development". You either sink or swim and training is virtually non-existent. Overall compensation for your work Those that do 90% of the work, get paid the same or less than those that do 10%. Others take credit for someone else's work and there is nothing you can do about it. Office / Work Environment The office itself is nice, however, the work environment is quite the opposite. There are always rude, pushy execs and managers yelling at others in the middle of the office. Work-Life Balance Work-life balance is only for a select few. If you actually know what you are doing, you are worked to death while others get away with doing nothing at all. Job Security Job security. Ha! There is none. Challenging Work Those that "work" are pushed until they break. Suggestions for improvement It's time for a new Senior Team. The current Senior Team is oblivious to what is really going on or they just don't care. There has been so much talent lost because of how they are treated. Those that do stay because they are passionate about the company eventually get let go because they don't "conform" to management. A complete overhaul needs to be done from the top down and this includes the family that runs the business by strategically placing all the family members at high positions so they can have a say in all aspects. Wake up before you lose it all!!! What I like about the company There really isn't much that comes to mind since the company went public. What I dislike about the company There are problems with communication, nepotism and office politics (that senior management completely denies any time it is brought to their attention). I have never seen lower morale in a company in my life. No one wakes up wanting to come to work except for the new employees that are still optimistic and naive.
