      Good place to learn..

      Pros

      Management willing to listen to everyone's opinions and considerations. Generous with time off in the face of an emergency. Great place to learn.

      Cons

      No job growth or promotion opportunities. There are many "career senior auditors" in the same position for 10+ years. Some of them are very smart and can easily be managers or CFOs elsewhere. The day after tax season when your services are not urgent anymore, they lay a lot of people off.

      Work-life balance; Flexibility to take time off (outside of busy season), Ability to try both tax and audit as an associate to find out which one is best for you

      Need more training opportunities; most clients are private companies (not much public exposure); Strong push towards business development starts early
