A Reflection on 25 Years with a Great Company
Pros
On July 6th I celebrated 25 years at CCC Information Services. I can hardly believe that many years have passed since my first day. A milesont like 25 years of course causes one to reflect. I feel like I need to share why I am still here and thriving after 25 years. I not only grew-up at CCC but also evolved in terms of my career. I have been so fortunate to work for a company that provided me with multiple opportunities to reinvent myself not just changing my job but by truly changing my career. I progressed from being the Manager of Order Processing to being a Business Systems Analyst for internal applications and then for customer facing applications and ultimately returning to internal applications again. Within internal applications I became literate in Oracle eBusiness Suite, Salesforce and now Workday - HCM. I cannot say enough positive things about CCC and most especially the great people who have helped me along the way (I hope you know who you are because I showed my appreciation at the time!). Lasting 25 years at the same place is not typical but when you can grow and evolve in your role there really isn't any reason to look elsewhere!
Cons
As with any long term relationship there were ups and downs, good managers and some really bad ones but overall my experience at CCC has been excellent!
