Pros

Lake hosting was a really wonderful summer job. Loved the people and the community. Obviously since it’s a summer job you don’t have opportunities for growth but it’s a great job for college kids.

Cons

There was not a lot of communication with managers- but it wasn’t egregious

Pros

Many continual opportunities in various states. Webinars available to staff for professional and personal development is nice.

Cons

Pay is barely adequate for the time required. Benefits are subpar. Raise % (if any) are far below cost of living. Upper management talks a good game about listening to and loyalty to staff but the staggering amount of turnaround shows the reality. Continual long hours are expected and not appreciated. Burnout is high/moral is low.

Pros

The people I work with are industry experts. There's so much to learn, and there is unlimited vertical growth. The CEO started in the company as a pool attendant. The possibilities for promotion are endless, as long as you are willing to learn and grow. The company is extremely forward-thinking, and always looking for ways to innovate. During COVID, there was a lot of uncertainty across all industries, but CCMC took it in stride and was able to pivot and innovate on the fly.

Cons

Annual pay raises are limited to 3 percent per year.
