      Once a great company, but handling of mergers ("joining of forces") was not handled correctly.

      Pros

      Benefits and pay, however both are not improving with higher costs for benefits and lack of performance raises over the past few years.

      Cons

      Communication and organization among designers is extremely lacking. This leads to low quality projects going out the door. Too big, systems in place are not good.

      Pros

      My immediate colleagues were great. Had flexiblitliy in my schedule. The location is convenient to public transportion and parking available.

      Cons

      "That's the way it's always been done" was a standard answer whenever the status quo was questioned. Those who "went along to get along" were rewarded. Those who bucked the trend were treated poorly. There wasn't a clear career path for HR and lack of development opportunities. Leadership in the group was sorely lacking. Never felt like anyone had my back. Lack of bonuses made compensation package uncompetitive.

      Pros

      steady workload, annual increases though modest

      Cons

      constant badgering to complete work. no flexibility with work schedule. The new breed of project managers are lacking in technical and organizational skills (BIG TIME!!). 3D is the biggest JOKE of all time, every function group uses a different platform. The moral in my office is as bad across the board as i've seen in my 10+ years.
