Everyone Here Stays For Years!!

Pros

The work environment is great, offices are nice (and usually downtown located), there are multiple offices in the US so you can transfer if you have to, projects are interesting!! I'm new but everyone in my office has stayed in the firm for over 10 years. It's my first full-time job out of school but I love it!!

Cons

Like all consulting firms, you need to look for billable work, so if you don't have a major project, you might have to be asking around for work.

Pros

Co-workers are smart, friendly and easy to work with. The fact that this is an employee-owned business (and intends to stay that way) allows for greater collaboration to find solutions. I've worked in publicly-traded companies most of my career and there is truly a positive difference in working at an organization that doesn't have to meet stock market expectations. The leadership team is intelligent, engaging and exhibits a strong desire to make the employees here successful. In my experience, if an employee reports a problem in good faith using one of many avenues available to her or him, the matter is resolved. The management team is very transparent and not afraid to challenge the organization to do better.

Cons

I haven't found anything significant. I've worked at a number of companies over the last 25 years and you learn that the "grass is not greener" on the other side. So there's always going to be something people will complaint about; but this has turned out to be one of the best companies I've ever worked for.

Flexible work hours, interesting projects, everyone who works there is intelligent and good at what they do Good health benefits

Cons

Upper management and local management are not on the same page Raises are pathetic and do not reflect the local cost of living increases UT pressures are emphasized on engineers and scientists while admins in corporate charge overhead for sitting around, but that's just the horrible horrible world of consulting
