Overworked and Under Appreciated

Interesting projects and solid technical experts. Plenty of internal networking/educational opportunities. Hybrid/ flexible work options.

Cons

Zero paid maternity leave or family leave benefits. There is too much focus on growth, and no focus retaining the existing hard-working employees. Disconnect between company's goals and the people actually DOING THE WORK in terms of utilization goals and salary increases (typical 3% per year raise with no bonuses).

Pros

Very busy throughout tenure. Worked with a great team, which helped make things bearable even when workload was crushing. Appreciated for my talents and personality. Made lasting friendships. Paid fairly for my contributions.

Cons

After being treated with respect for the vast majority of my employment there, I was thrown to the curb when they cut a senior manager's position and several others during a reorganization. They lay off staff with zero compassion or consideration of the facts.
