Pros
Company invests in their people, by training and certifying them. Some of the coworkers are phenomenonal human beings who are always there to support and share their knowledge. Those people should be cherished, especially at this place, because without them there is no other reason to work at CDW. Good place to get exposure to various tech and clientele.
Cons
Overall, the company is incredibly mismanaged. Since my first day, many years ago, it has been non stop changes on top of changes, changes that take us in one direction, then another change that takes us in a direction completely different for no apparent reason. 3 rounds of layoffs in the last two years, which has really crumbled whatever was left of the culture. I personally don't have any trust in the capabilities of the leadership "team", and their 20 layers of management between the CEO and ordinary workers. They have unreasonable expectations of growth. I've seen the company set a goal to increase profits by an insane amount within a year, when the goal is missed by a percent or two, they'll create a round of layoffs. The lay off emails are just copies of the previous ones at this point. The company has no values, except for one, the almighty shareholder who will direct the actions that affect the whole company based on the stock price. Recently, anything coming from the upper management has been disappointing. Cutting PTO, reducing various benefits, layoffs, taking back the stock grant issued 3 years ago because they've missed their insane growth target. On top of all of that, the company underpays their employees by approximately 20% compared to the market average.
