Entering Sales/Account Management or Entry Level Corporate Work
Pros
The great thing about this place is that it's pretty much a call centre the first few months, you learn valuable skills that will allow you to build on in your career They set fair expectations based on your salary You learn in the start and have many people around you who start off the same race, all at a different pace You are expected to sell, but have a bit of breathing room the first few months (6). Great for students out of school who are consistently doing well and have strong speaking/presenting skills (if you do not have this, you will learn on the job)
Cons
Lots of movement in the company If you don't have some foundation on how to sell, expect to put in some effort, it's not a role where you can just show up Low salary If you stay long it will be difficult to transition out of the space, but if you stay long likely you're earning a lot, figure out if it's truly what you want in life Competitive fight to keep accounts and customers under you (more so a challenge than a con)
