      Culture is gone Mediocre Management at best PMO Leader is vindictive and pushes people out Sales driven environment with no ethics Management preaches certification, yet doesn't have the same certification

      Everything is done out of Excel. There is NO company/PMO sanctioned project management software. IT company not using IT? Really embarrassing to present a project plan as an excel doc, Management pushes "billable hours" constantly. How much money are you making us? It is extremely stressful. There is no representation of company values from management. Managers actively avoid speaking to individuals on their team 1:1 Turnover is extremely high. Top talent is leaving the company in droves right now. In the last 6 months my team of 12 has lost 8 people, all Sr. PM roles.

      Pros

      If you are fresh out of college, it's a good place to start. Allow self 12 months with goal to move on and specialize.

      Cons

      CDW is a revenue generating machine. Period. Most new hires figure out compensation is substandard and long term benefits and lack of pension and lack of stock awards don't exist. Executive management has no issue dipping their toe into the Sales pool and taking money from Account Managers. SPIF's which were big part of an Account Managers compensation have been eliminated. Account Managers generally last 16-20 months and realize the futility of a long term sales career before leaving. Team Sales Managers also have a high burn out rate and realize there isn't a work life balance.
