Very low pay Management doesn't support you against the union Their CSR report is for show. They don't provide tuition assistance, they spend their time looking for ways to not do what they say they do. Long hours and because your salary you only get paid for weekends or for extreme week day coverage. The company demands Kaizens and money saving projects but they ignore them and if they do proceed you don't have the resources to implement them properly. Current general manager only looks at numbers and doesn't understand operations. Transportation is an accident waiting to happen and is very inefficient. NO OPPORTUNITY for advancement but lots for you to be disciplined Annual reviews are a real joke but are tied to your bonus and the BS eats into your time. Self training is available through an online portal but you have no time to use it. Very bad corporate management team at the top The company has nothing proprietary and no assets so they can someday just disappear. they lack stability. Hourly employees earn more than you do as a supervisor. No work life balance
