- healthy corporate culture - no expectation to put in 50/60/70 hour weeks - not prone to mass layoffs

Cons

- you have to get several "role promotions" before you ever get near a "title promotion", role promotions do not come with pay raises - pay/bonuses/perks are pretty low for the area, tradeoff for job security and work/life balance
