Pros

Pay, PTO, (6 weeks) and benefits are great. Up to 6% 401k matching and you're 100% vested right away. Christmas bonus, ($750) yearly "Chaziversary" bonus. Year one is $500, and increases by $500 every year after. Employee appreciation week with great perks and prizes for employees. $5k yearly for childcare.

Cons

Very heavy workload for medical staff (this is a problem throughout the company, no matter what clinic you're at) which quickly leads to burnout. Unrealistic expectations of what can be done in a 20 minute appointment. Upper management with no clinical experience frequently makes changes and adds tasks onto workloads that make little sense, further adding onto what is expected of clinical staff. MA's are either bullied by management or given no choice whether or not to take/train apprentices. Apprentice "coaches" are solely responsible for their hands on/clinical training, and it is a year long commitment. There is no real compensation for this either- except a $350 "thank you" bonus. Which ends up being an extra 16 cents per hour. They will let anyone be a coach (even newly graduated apprentices) because they're trying to pump out as many apprentices into the clinics as they can. Many of the apprentices are being trained by incompetent and inexperienced coaches- which produces incompetent apprentices. This is a disservice to the apprentices, patients, and other staff. Advancement opportunities aren't given to the most qualified applicants- they're given to the employees who are friends with the right people. Qualified or even overly qualified applicants aren't even given the courtesy of an interview. If you happen to have the misfortune of having a terrible manger, don't expect help from HR. Complaints about bullying, verbal abuse, and unfair treatment isn't taken seriously by HR- even with multiple complaints from other employees. Again, all boiling down to who you're friends with and or who you suck up to.
